Frequently Asked Questions About Spare Parts
Since we have made many product improvements over the past 25 years and some systems that are 15-20 years old are still in use, we need to know a few details about your product in advance for any spare parts order so that we can assign the appropriate and correct parts. Therefore, please always contact us by phone or, even better, by email and send us photos of the existing frame/product or the defective part. This way we can immediately identify the correct variant and send you the correct parts.
Most parts of our products are screwed and not riveted. This means that every single small part can be replaced. Replacement by yourself is therefore not a problem in most cases, provided you have some tools and manual skills. However, replacement is normally self-explanatory and easy to accomplish.
If this is not possible for any reason, you are also welcome to send us your defective product and we will then—always in consultation with you—carry out the repair of the defective product and of course also prepare a corresponding quote for parts and repair costs in advance.
We provide a 10-year spare parts guarantee, which means you can repair your Expotrade product for up to 10 years (and normally even longer). We develop sustainable products that can easily be used for 20 years or more if handled with care. This usually excludes fabric parts, which for technical reasons usually do not last 20 years or reach the end of their lifespan earlier due to weather influences.
Ideally, please take photo(s) of the defective part(s) and also of the complete product so that we can clearly identify the defective parts and you can avoid longer waiting times.

All spare parts are original Expotrade parts and also come with the 10-year warranty against material defects. However, the 10-year spare parts availability depends on the respective date of the actual product purchase and therefore does not automatically extend for another 10 years after the purchase of the spare part.
If you install corresponding parts from another manufacturer in your product purchased from Expotrade, the warranty automatically expires. Third-party parts may not meet the quality criteria regarding workmanship and stability of the original parts, and therefore the proper use of the Expotrade product cannot be guaranteed and Expotrade cannot be held liable should something happen with the Expotrade product or even damage third parties.
