Frequently Asked Questions About Spare Parts
Can I purchase spare parts directly online?
Since we have made many product improvements over the past 25 years and some systems still in use are 15-20 years old, we need to know a few details about your product in advance for any spare parts order so that we can assign the appropriate and correct parts. Therefore, please always contact us by phone or, even better, by email and send us photos of the existing frame/product or the defective part. This way, we can immediately identify the correct variant and send you the correct parts.
Can I install the spare parts myself?
Most parts of our products are screwed together, not riveted. This means that every single small part is replaceable. Replacement by yourself is therefore no problem in most cases, provided you have some tools and manual skills. The replacement is usually self-explanatory and easy to accomplish.
If this is not possible for any reason, you are welcome to send us your defective product and we will then—always in consultation with you—carry out the repair of the defective product and, of course, provide a corresponding quote for parts and repair costs in advance.
How long are spare parts available?
We provide a 10-year spare parts guarantee, which means you can repair your Expotrade product for up to 10 years (and normally even longer). We develop sustainable products that can easily be used for 20 years or more if handled with care. This usually excludes fabric parts, which for technical reasons typically do not last 20 years or may reach the end of their lifespan earlier due to weather conditions.
How do I find the right spare parts for my product?
Ideally, please take photo(s) of the defective part(s) and also of the complete product so that we can clearly identify the defective parts and you can avoid longer waiting times.

Is there also a guarantee on spare parts?
All spare parts are original parts from Expotrade and also come with the 10-year guarantee against material defects. However, the 10-year spare parts availability depends on the respective date of the actual product purchase and therefore does not automatically extend for another 10 years after purchasing the spare part.
What happens if I install third-party parts in my Expotrade product?
If you install corresponding parts from another manufacturer in your product purchased from Expotrade, the guarantee automatically becomes void. Third-party parts may not meet the quality criteria regarding workmanship and stability of the original parts, and therefore the proper use of the Expotrade product cannot be guaranteed and Expotrade cannot be held liable should something happen with the Expotrade product or even cause damage to third parties.
