Through its diagonal connection with aluminum profiles, it enormously stiffens the entire gazebo, absorbing both tensile and compressive forces, which, for example, in a wire rope only act as tension. If you mount this diagonal rod, for instance, on two adjacent sides, you achieve optimal stiffening at a 90° angle, and the pop-up gazebo stands like a rock!
