The base plates for weighting down the folding tents (and other products) are available in 15 kg and 25 kg. Depending on the tent size, several base plates per leg may be required to guarantee the tent’s stability. Please note, however, that at certain wind speeds the folding tents must be taken down, as the base-plate securing system also reaches the tents’ load limits and safety can then no longer be guaranteed. Each base plate has a strap securing system with a metal buckle. This strap is placed around the leg and fastened with the buckle. This prevents the base plate from slipping in strong winds, etc.
