Important Details
Clearance Heights
Premium and Professional frames can already be set to a clearance height of up to 230 cm as standard (250 cm for some sizes).
Logo Banner
Due to the higher clearance heights, logo banners can also be attached to the roof and you still have 200 cm clearance height.
Triangular Base Plate
All base plates are triangular in shape, so that when the frame is closed, no part protrudes and there are no problems during loading.
red pressure lever
This lever for the pressure bolt is simple and ingenious. There is no more finger pinching and the red color makes the lever easy to find.
reinforced plastic connectors
Specially hardened plastic parts for smooth guidance of the joint parts. This means that no additional plastic caps etc. are necessary as with aluminum connectors. They are also gentler when they come into contact with fabric.
Protective Flap for Reinforcement
Highly exposed fabric parts are reinforced with an additional protective flap and thus protected against chafing. Despite constant movement in the wind, these vulnerable areas are well protected and therefore long-lasting.
sealed seams
All seams where technically possible are provided with a special tape or sealing band. This tape is heat-welded and seals the seams against water ingress.
vertical hook-and-loop fastener
Two side walls can additionally be sealed tightly with a vertical micro hook-and-loop fastener, so that no rain, snow, or dust can penetrate into the interior of the tent.
This connection clamp can be equipped with different inserts, so that different tent types can also be connected to each other (e.g., octagonal profile on the left with a hexagonal profile on the right)
This patented wheel system enables easy transport / pulling / pushing of the tent. Thanks to the large wheels, this is no problem even through gravel, snow, or grass. With adjustable plates, it can possibly also be used for non-Expotent tents.
For Professional frames, there is also the option of attaching click wheels to each triangular base plate. Some have brakes attached. This enables easy upright transport of the tent and also facilitates assembly/disassembly, especially for larger tents.
Plastic Profile Guide
To prevent the aluminum or steel profiles from rubbing against each other and thus scratching, plastic profile guides are built into our profiles, which protect the profiles against chafing and enable easy handling.
Carry bag with door
Often smaller bags are sewn onto the outside of the tent carrying bag, which however get caught when storing the tents. The stakes and tension straps are stored in separate compartments on the inside of the door. This door opening also makes it easy to pull the bag over the frame.
Screws with Special Coating
All tents are equipped with screws with a special DAKROMET coating that prevents rusting! They are not highly polished like other tents, but are many times better in durability.
30 years of experience in printing ranges from classic screen printing to modern sublimation printing (see image). Any design / image / logo is possible – and in photorealistic print quality. For larger quantities and simple logos, screen printing on dyed fabric is of course also suitable. We can do both!

Frequently Asked Questions about Expotent Accessories
Can I mount the base plates on all tent types?
In principle, yes. The base plates have a webbing closure that can be placed around the tent legs and closed with a fastener. Due to the triangular cut of the base plates, they fit into the inner corner of every tent, so that the side walls extend outside over the plate to the ground and do not stand on the plate.
Is it better to use base plates or water bags for weighting?
It is generally important to weight the pop-up pavilions so that they do not lift off in the wind. If the weight of the weighting during transport in a car / bus / truck is not an issue, then the steel base plates are of course ideal, as they are small and handy (carrying handle) to transport.
If weight becomes a problem, then the water bags are particularly suitable. With a 40-liter water capacity, these filled PVC bags are the ideal weighting for small and especially large tents. Because the bags can be emptied at the end of the event, only the PVC cover remains for transport, which can also be folded up small.
Ultimately, the decision is a question of aesthetics and/or weight.
Can I use the transport roller systems for all tent types?
Our patented transport wheel system is height-adjustable and thus adaptable to the respective triangular base feet of the tents.
Thus, every Expotent tent type can be transported with this wheel system. Only the weight of the frame limits its use. An 8 x 4 m tent, for example, is normally too heavy to be pulled in a tilted state. This also applies to 5 x 5 m and 6 x 6 m tents.
Otherwise, the roller system can also be used with most third-party brands. Simply contact us – we will be happy to advise you.
What is the function of the click-rollers?
The click wheels are only available for Expotent “Professional” frames, as the mount was specifically designed for the triangular plate of the Professional. These click wheels are clicked onto each leg and then automatically lock with a locking lever. 1-2 wheels also have a brake function on the wheel, so that there is no rolling away of the tent during storage. With these click wheels, the tent is pushed or pulled standing and vertically and it is not tilted as with the wheel system. The click wheels also make it easier to pull the tent apart or push it together during disassembly. When assembled, however, the click wheels should be removed again so that the pop-up pavilion has a good and secure stand on the plates.
Once the click-rollers are removed, they can be stored in a small bag so that they do not get lost and are immediately available again during dismantling.
In which direction does the water from the rain gutter drain?
The Expotent horizontal rain gutter is cut so that it has a high and a low point. The rainwater therefore only drains in one direction. Depending on where the water should run, the rain gutter can be rotated or adjusted. A 20 cm longer drainage channel allows the water to drain outside the tent and not run into the tent. This rain gutter is simply attached to the inside of the roof with hook-and-loop fastener. It is also recommended to use the Expotent connection clamps to connect the tents. The rain gutter has the same distance front and back, so that the rainwater can drain well. In addition, the rain gutter cannot be torn down even in wind, as the tents do not shift.
What is the function of the vertical rain gutter?
The vertical rain gutter has the great advantage that the rainwater from the horizontal rain gutter can then run vertically within the PVC tube to the ground and not hit the ground from 2 m height and splash back into the tent. Thus, the water drains cleanly downward within the gutter and you do not get splashed. This vertical rain gutter is simply attached with hook-and-loop fastener below the horizontal gutter to the two legs and thus also professionally closes the gap between the two tents.
The gap in the opposite rear area between the tents is also closed by an additionally supplied cover.
What is the purpose of the horizontal connecting rod?
The horizontal connecting pole has two uses. On the one hand, it is the suspension for the 1/2-height side wall below, so that it cannot sag in the middle. On the other hand, it increases the stability of the tent against wind, as the legs are connected to each other.
A short vertical leg also supports the pole in the middle, should someone want to sit on or lean against the pole.
What is the advantage of the diagonal connecting rod compared to the horizontal rod?
Our patented diagonal connecting pole is the perfect solution, especially in windy areas. By arranging the poles as a cross, it stiffens the two connected legs in such a way that the tent stands like a house. In addition, the cross also prevents the side wall from bulging in strong winds. If this pole is mounted over 2 corners, for example, there is virtually no wobbling of the tent anymore and it enormously increases the overall stability.
The great advantage of this construction is that the rigid aluminum pole can absorb tensile and compressive forces and not just tensile forces, for example, as with a wire rope bracing.
