Frequently asked questions about spare parts
Since we have made many product improvements over the past 25 years and some systems are still in use that are sometimes 15–20 years old, we need to know a few details about your product before a potential spare parts order so that we can assign the appropriate and correct parts. Therefore, please always inquire with us by phone or even better by email, and send us photos of the existing frame/product or the defective part. This allows us to immediately identify the correct variant and send you the correct parts.
In our products, most parts are screwed and not riveted. This means that every single small part is replaceable. Replacement by yourself is therefore no problem in most cases, provided you have a few tools and some manual skill. The replacement is normally self-explanatory and easy to accomplish.
Should that not be possible for any reason, you are also welcome to send us your defective product and we will then take over the repair of the defective product – always in consultation with you – and will of course also be happy to provide a corresponding quote for parts and repair costs in advance.
We grant a 10-year spare parts guarantee, which means you can repair your Expotrade product for up to 10 years (and normally even longer). We develop sustainable products that can easily be used for up to 20 years or more if handled with care. This usually excludes fabric parts, which for technical reasons mostly do not last for 20 years or reach the end of their service life earlier due to weather influences.
Ideally, please take photo(s) of the defective part(s) and also of the overall product so that we can clearly identify the defective parts and you can avoid longer waiting times.

All spare parts are original parts from Expotrade and also come with the 10-year guarantee on material defects. However, the 10-year spare part availability depends on the respective date of the actual product purchase and therefore does not automatically extend by another 10 years after the purchase of the spare part.
If you install corresponding parts from another manufacturer into your product purchased from Expotrade, the guarantee expires automatically. Third-party parts may not meet the quality criteria regarding workmanship and stability of the original parts, and thus the proper use of the Expotrade product cannot be guaranteed; Expotrade cannot be held liable should something happen with the Expotrade product or even cause damage to third parties.
